Not legal advice
KeepWise AI generates drafts, research assistance, and organizational output using artificial intelligence. None of it is legal advice, and using KeepWise AI does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and KeepWise. Only a licensed attorney, exercising independent professional judgment, can provide legal advice.
The attorney remains responsible
Consistent with ABA Formal Opinion 512 on generative AI, the reviewing attorney is responsible for independently verifying the accuracy, relevance, and appropriateness of any AI-generated output before relying on it, filing it, or advising a client based on it. KeepWise AI's automatic checks (see The Verifier) reduce specific, named risks — they do not replace an attorney's professional judgment or independent review.
What the Verifier does and does not do
The Verifier checks two mechanical facts about case citations that KeepWise's own AI generates: whether the cited case exists, and whether quoted language actually appears in it. It does not confirm a case is still good law, does not assess whether it's the strongest authority for an argument, and does not review citations in documents you upload. Full scope: The Verifier.
No guarantee of outcome
KeepWise AI does not guarantee any particular result, case outcome, or level of accuracy in any specific matter. AI systems can make mistakes even where mechanical checks are in place.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeepWise's liability for any claim relating to the service is limited as described in our Terms and Conditions.
