Privacy Policy

KeepWise Ventures LLC, doing business as KeepWise AI ("KeepWise," "we"), provides an AI-powered legal productivity workspace. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how it's protected.

Information we collect

• Account information you provide — name, email, firm name, billing details.
• Content you submit to the workspace — prompts, uploaded documents, matter and project data — in order to provide the service.
• Usage data — device/browser type, pages visited, and how the product is used.
• Payment information, processed directly by Stripe — we never receive or store full card numbers.
• What you send us through our contact or demo request forms — your name, work email, firm name and message, and on a demo request your firm's size and practice area. We use it only to reply to you and arrange a demo. It is delivered to us by email through Resend, listed on our subprocessors page.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• To communicate with you about your account, billing, and support.
• To detect abuse and maintain security.
• To comply with legal obligations.

AI providers and training

Client data is never used to train AI models. AI providers retain prompts and responses only for safety and abuse monitoring, and for different periods: up to 30 days at Anthropic, up to 55 days at Google, and longer only for content a provider flags for a policy violation (Anthropic: up to 2 years). Web-search queries are retained by Brave for up to 90 days, and case-law lookups by CourtListener for up to 12 weeks. Per-provider figures are on the Subprocessor List below.

Supabase, Northflank, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Anthropic and Brave each state that they hold a SOC 2 Type II attestation or report; not every provider we use does. See our full Subprocessor List for who we work with and what each one receives.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate and secure the site and workspace — for example, to keep you signed in. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies on this site. If that changes, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not set cookies. We see only aggregated, anonymous counts of page views, not who you are.

Sharing information

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the subprocessors listed on our Subprocessor List, each bound by their own data protection obligations, and only as necessary to provide the service.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and workspace data at any time by emailing privacy@keepwise.ai.

One carve-out: KeepWise maintains a tamper-evident audit ledger of governed actions taken in your workspace, which is append-only by design and may include user identifiers. We honor deletion requests for your account and workspace data wherever possible, but audit and verification records are retained to preserve the integrity of that ledger.

Retention and security

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Security incidents

If we confirm a security incident affecting your data, we will notify your account's owner without undue delay, using the contact information on file for your account. We don't promise a fixed notification window measured in hours or days — our priority when an incident is confirmed is getting you accurate information, not a fast but incomplete one.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
